From the department of mastering the obvious, this article is perhaps a bit redundant to your awareness that the FaithSearch Center has launched a new Web site. At the risk of being tedious, may we describe a few features here, and invite you to tour the new content for yourself.
The goal of the site is to help us accomplish the mission of the FaithSearch Center:
The FaithSearch Center exists to support the ministry of FaithSearch International and its ministry family with prayer, and to equip both lay and professional men and women with the biblical knowledge, ministry tools, skills and strategies to have and facilitate a FaithSearch ministry of the Gospel with evidence in Christian discipleship and outreach.
We are, in short, "a multiplication ministry to assist believers in becoming strong in faith and effective in witness." The three aspects of the ministry, Prayer Foundation, Great Commission Training, and Bible for Life Curriculum, are described in the About Us section.
The new site uses tools that allow us to distribute content maintenance to those who are directly involved in the ministry, rather than to any single individual who is responsible to "maintain" the Web site. In the future, articles will be written by our ministry trainers and partners, whether here or around the world. The content will be dynamic and up-to-date, so we encourage you to return often.
Some of the fun features we are excited to use include reader polls, online training registration, and a more efficient system to manage of registered users. Speaking of registered users, in the future currently licensed Discovery Teachers will be able to post articles to the site, and interact with one another from around the globe.
Little features may prove very valuable, such as each article having a button for printing, creating a PDF, and for sending via E-mail. Be sure to let us know what you think, and if you have suggestions for further improvements. Thanks for visiting!
