What is the Gospel with evidence?

In short, the concept is to include the "why" as well as the "what" of the Christian Gospel.

In actuality, what we describe as "the Gospel with evidence" grew out of a desire to "satisfy the mind so the heart can follow." We recognize that people have questions about the Christian faith, and we seek to help provide answers. Many may not have grown up in the church; many who did grow up in the church still have questions and doubts. If the Gospel message is true, then certainly it will bear up under scrutiny.

Ultimately, the Gospel with evidence follows the pattern of the first century church. Read the article "The Message of the Apostles: A Model for Proclamationl," for a detailed explanation. In the article "Proclaiming the Gospel with Evidence," Dr. Don Bierle describes the importance of following the biblical model, and places it against the backdrop of his own upbringing in the church.
